An important argument in favor of using eyewashes when working with corrosive chemicals is that in every situation when employees come into contact with such chemicals, there is a probability of an accident, and every accident regardless of the duration of contact with the substance may result in loss of health. Eye washers (eye and face washers) are used to wash the face and rinse hazardous substances from the eyes. These devices should be installed in a safe place that the injured person can reach within 10 seconds, no further than 30 m from the site of a potential accident.
